Tomco Construction began its operation in 1997 as a small commercial builder located in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Tom Crymes started this venture with only one client, Atlanta International School, and one superintendent out of the basement of his home. In the early years, Tom learned the importance of relationships and the bonds that make businesses successful. In the fall of 1998, Tomco relocated to 14 E Washington Street in Newnan and shared an office with an architectural firm. Shortly after that, Tomco landed a project that cemented the future of Tomco. This project catapulted Tomco into being an established commercial general contractor. Tomco spent several years expanding and searching out quality projects to continue the growth and success of the business. We relied heavily on the excellent relationships that serve all successful contracting endeavors. We have worked for well-known groups such as Cousins Properties, Piedmont, Coca-Cola, Newnan Utilities, and various public projects in the Coweta County area. We have expanded to nearly 20 employees and have performed many tasks while staying focused and grounded on the principles of client relationships and providing a quality product. These principles are foundational to Tomco’s success.
Tomco has a long-standing, proven track record of over 25 years of completed projects in the metro Atlanta area, primarily in the Newnan / Coweta market. These projects range from simple renovations to complex projects. Our experience demonstrates our depth of understanding of building various building types and uses successfully.
